Rev. Nancy Boswell grew up in Englewood, CO, and worked in the Denver area as a registered nurse (specializing in Cardiac Care) before being called to the ministry. During seminary she was an intern at Torrington UMC and also served two years as a student pastor at Englewood UMC. After graduating from the Iliff School of Theology, she began serving Price United Methodist Church in Price, Utah on July 1, 2000. Rev. Boswell was appointed to Christ United Methodist Church on August 1, 2007 and served for 12 years. Rev. Boswell enjoys drawing and water color painting, reading, cooking, and movies. Nancy's sister and family live in Denver, with another sister and family living in Texas. "I have been blessed with many experiences and relationships that have challenged me and deepened my faith. Ministry is the hardest work I have ever done-and the best!"
Pastor Mary grew up in Georgia, reside and served numerous churches in the Texas Annual Conference for 25 years. She has a heart and passion for God and serving people and leading them into a deeper walk with the Lord.
Her responsibilities at the church include training and strengthening an active Stephen Ministry Program, regular home and hospital visitation with our homebound members, leading Bible Study, preaching monthly, and participating in our outreach ministry at King's Corner on Sunday and Tuesday nights. She also provides leadership in our "Faith Keepers" Women's Ministry.
Mary's educational training include a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia, a Master's degree in Christian Education from Asbury Seminary in Wilmore Kentucky, a Master's degree in Divinity from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mary is married to Don Schmidt, and she has one married son Josh, who resides in California. Hobbies include reading, walking, entertaining and taking cruises.
